Environmental Impact Assessment

We have in-house expertise in landscape design, landscape and visual impact assessments, planning applications, planning policy review, cultural heritage, environmental science and ecology, which is supplemented by a close network of sub-consultants.

We use EIA as an integral part of the design process, to identify and design out environmental impacts at an early stage.

Our Environmental Co-ordinators will manage the EIA process, bringing together in-house expertise and associated specialist consultants to produce comprehensive, clear Environmental Statements. We work to the DMRB Volume 11 for highway projects, and agree appropriate, specific formats to support other development applications.

We will prepare a Supporting Statement for projects which do not require a formal EIA. This statement provides the Planning Authority with the information about specific, relevant environmental concerns so that a planning application can be determined without delay.
