Skate Park Design
Please scroll down for our latest parks. VIKI PARK, Victoria Park, Warrington (2003) | The 1600m² development has been designed as the UK's most prestigious centre for national and international skateboard tournaments and displays. The skatepark is a recreational facility for people across the North West of England.
Specialist consultees included Gary Woody Woodward, a locally based professional international skateboarder who has competed throughout Europe for 15 years. Gary said: "Victoria Park will lead the way in skatepark design, as the most exciting and imaginative centre in Britain. It is one of the first to be built in concrete and is certainly the biggest and best in the country." |

The skatepark is part of the development of a new Youth Activity Park in Castlefields, which will include play areas and a climbing boulder.
Councillor Phil Harris, Executive Board member for Environment, said: "The skatepark will be a brilliant addition to the facilities available for people in the area. We expect it to be very popular indeed." RML reports that although skateboarding, BMX and blading have occasionally been dismissed as passing crazes, demand for new parks continues to increase. |
